About the Young Scientist Forum (YSF)
The YSF is being organized this year for the first time in International conference on Biofabrication(ICB). The YSF aims to provide young scientists with opportunities to discuss their research and socially network with fellow young scientists to facilitate the development of their research. YSF activities will be organized by committee members and mentors working together to encourage and advise young scientists.

Don’t miss the free YSF welcome dinner, brought to you by ICB! Come and enjoy socializing with other young scientists. Invited mentors will join as well to share their experiences with young scientists. After dinner, be sure to also join us for drinks at POSTECH’s very own campus pub “Log Cabin”.

Opening Remarks
Mentor’s Talk The YSF mentor will give a talk about career planning.
This will be a good chance to get advices and ask questions about your future planning.
YSF Introduction Let’s congrats the organization of the first YSF in ICB together and discuss about the aim of the YSF.
The Voice of YSF It’s time to share each other’s happenings or difficulties in research.
The volunteers will give a short talk about ‘experience episodes’, ‘dear young scientists’, etc.
Dinner Dinner will be served as a buffet.
Closing Remarks
Beer Night Let’s talk more freely with beer and recreations.
“The Voice of YSF” will be comprised of young scientist volunteers.The talks don’t need to be long and any topic is fine. It’s a time to talk about your opinions and share your experiences in the science community. Of course, there will be small prizes for all speakers. Don’t hesitate and please send me an e-mail if you want to hold a microphone in front of Young Scientists.
ICB Awards - Wednesday, 1st October, POSCO International Center
Awards will be given to the best oral and poster presentations, selected by YSF mentors. Not a presenter? “Activity awards” will also be given to active participants! Winners will receive their prizes during the ICB2014 closing ceremony.
The candidate must be a student or post-doc.
The student applicant must have an accepted abstract and should be the presenting author.
The candidate should indicate on the registration form if they wish to be considered for the award.
